Two teens arrested for Northwest DC robbery, search for suspects continues

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police arrested two teenagers for an assault and theft that took place in Northwest in April.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that around 6 p.m. on April 30, several suspects went up to the victim in the 400 block of 7th St. NW. They assaulted the victim before stealing items and escaping.

Police obtained surveillance video of the robbery and quickly located the two suspects — a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy. Officers stopped both boys and arrested them, charging both of them with robbery (force and violence).
