2 DC shootings happen 35 minutes apart; investigation underway

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are investigating two separate shootings that happened less than an hour apart on Wednesday night.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the first shooting happened at around 8:15 p.m. in the 4900 block of 14th St.

One teenage boy was found shot there. He was still conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening…
