Man shows up at fire station with gunshot wound; DC police investigating

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it was investigating a shooting in Southwest that left a person hurt on Friday.

MPD said officers were in the 900 block of Wesley Pl. SW at around 4:30 p.m., after they received reports about the shooting.

DC to increase law enforcement presence for America 250 celebrations

Although police found evidence that a shooting took place, they did not find anyone hurt.
