18-year-old faces nearly 70 charges for bus stop shooting that hurt 5 people

WASHINGTON — An 18-year-old man is facing nearly 70 charges after police say he shot into a crowd, wounding five people, after sexually assaulting a girl on a bus in January.

According to the U.S. Attorney for D.C., Jeanine Ferris Pirro, 18-year-old Anthony Del Cid-Morales was indicted this week on 69 charges connected to the mass Jan. 2026 mass shooting.
