NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man is on his way to prison for using a box cutter to stab another man during a fight, reportedly over a woman, inside a borough tavern.
Wilber Daniel Garcia, 36, of the unit block of Stanbridge Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 4½ to 9 years in a state correctional facility after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and a misdemeanor charge of possessing an instrument of crime in connection with the Sept. 5, 2025, stabbing inside the 88 Café on East Main Street.
Garcia will receive credit for time he’s been in jail since his arrest on the day of the incident…
