Doylestown’s Fred Beans Group Gives $500,000 in Grants to Community Organizations

DOYLESTOWN, PA—The Fred Beans Automotive Group has given 16 community organizations grants totaling $500,000, double the amount it donated in 2022.

The grants went to organizations that provide scholarships, educational services and innovative school programs. Four of the organizations received $50,000 each; the other 12 received $25,000 each.

Here are the organizations that received $50,000 each:

Hepatitis B Foundation.
Heritage Conservancy.
Council Rock Education Foundation.
Mercer Museum.

Here are the organizations that received $25,000 each:

Bucks County Audubon Society.
Bucks County Children’s Museum.
Bucks County Community College Foundation.
Bucks County Free Library.
Bucks County Playhouse.
Chester County History Center.
Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial.
New Hope-Solebury Education Fund.
Pennsbury Education Foundation.
Pennsbury Society/Pennsbury Manor.
YMCA of Bucks County.
West Chester Public Library.

Beth Beans Gilbert, Vice President of the Fred Beans Automotive Group, said her company was able to increase its grants last year thanks to changes to the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit programs. Pennsylvania approved a $150 million increase in the programs last year.
