Retiring owner puts nearly 20-year-old pub up for sale in the Lehigh Valley

A roughly two-decade-old pub has gone up for sale in the Lehigh Valley as the owner prepares to retire.

Braveheart Highland Pub, at 430 Main St. in Hellertown, has been priced at $3.8 million, according to a listing from realtor Justin Kline. The sale would include the business, the real estate and the liquor license.

Announcing his retirement Tuesday morning, owner Andy Lee said, “Braveheart has been a very important part of our lives for the last 20 years. This decision hasn’t come lightly, but I think it’s time for a new chapter in my life and frankly I’m looking to simplify life going forward. Braveheart is going strong. We have a great staff. We have great customers and I will not sell [Braveheart] to someone that wants to change the operation or what it stands for! There’s no rush on this from my standpoint and I will be very selective on who/if anyone I move forward with down the path of selling it!”…
