A well-known property along one of Marietta’s busiest corridors has officially entered a new chapter after demolition crews cleared the former Nik’s Place restaurant site to make way for a new commercial development.
The building, which once housed the popular Greek restaurant and neighborhood bar, was demolished this week following years of vacancy and uncertainty about the property’s future.
City officials confirmed that the site is expected to be redeveloped into a new car wash facility, ending years of speculation about what would eventually replace the aging structure.
