The Marietta City Council will hold a public hearing on an 18-home subdivision, consider relaxing a Sunday alcohol sales regulation and work toward developing a Franklin Gateway park committee following this week’s series of committee meetings.
Given concerns from neighbors, the council will host a public hearing during the July 8 council meeting for the preliminary design of an 18-home subdivision located on 12.16 acres of mostly wooded land at 1409 and 1440 Sumter Drive, near Dallas Highway and Marietta High School.
