Zoning permit requested for Sandy Springs school move

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A private school on Roswell Road wants to relocate to a residential neighborhood on High Point Road where it will be able to double its enrollment.

The High Point Road location has been the site of a church and school for many years, and a new school would not disrupt the neighborhood, according to officials.

Chaya Mushka Chabad Academy, a K-12 private Jewish school currently located at 5180 Roswell Road, is seeking a zoning permit from the City of Sandy Springs to relocate its operations to 4945 High Point Road, the former site of St. Martin’s Episcopal School’s preschool and daycare facility.
