ROSWELL, Ga. — The Roswell City Council at its regular meeting will consider authorizing the city attorney to petition Fulton County Superior Court to allow the city to begin collecting property taxes.
The petition follows the Fulton County Board of Tax Assessors’ failure to complete its annual property assessment process on schedule, delaying the county’s tax digest. Roswell relies on the digest to calculate property tax bills.
