Youths on e-bikes accused of harassing woman were handcuffed but not charged, sheriff’s office says

The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office is warning parents about the consequences of their children behaving recklessly when riding e-bikes.

The sheriff’s office said they could have charged the young people with reckless driving, aggressive driving or simple assault.

Deputies said they responded to a 911 call in the Centennial Lakes subdivision just after 7 p.m. Wednesday on Celebration Lane after a woman said youths on e-bikes circled her car, harassed her and prevented her from getting out safely…
