One thing that is a constant and delightful surprise to me is the number of “public spaces” (another way of saying “parks”) to be found hereabouts.
I’ve lived in this neck of the woods pretty much non-stop since I made my grand debut back in – well, let’s just say back in the previous millennium. In the years since then, I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time in the great outdoors, much of it exploring various parklands.
You’d think that by now I’ve seen ‘em all. But I haven’t – not even close. It seems like I’m always stumbling across one that’s new (or at least new-to-me)…
