2 Duluth teens arrested for attempted drone contraband drop at Washington State Prison

DAVISBORO, Ga. (WGXA) — Two teens are behind bars for allegedly attempting to drop contraband using a drone at Washington State Prison on Sunday.

According to the Washington County sheriff’s office, deputies intercepted the drop after noticing “suspicious vehicle activity” near the prison in Davisboro.

They discovered bags filled with about 2.95 pounds of marijuana, tobacco products, cell phones, chargers and clothing items. Deputies also saw blades hidden in a field near the facility…
