Gwinnett County Police officers are investigating a homicide that left one man dead at a hotel in Duluth on Tuesday, May 5.
According to a statement from Gwinnett County Police on social media Wednesday, authorities responded to the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at 3550 Venture Parkway in Duluth in reference to a person shot during a domestic dispute.
Officers made contact with multiple parties inside a room, including the victim, 49-year-old Ephrim Forbes. Forbes was evaluated by Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services personnel and was pronounced dead at the scene.
GCPD reported that all parties involved have cooperated with investigators. No arrests have been made in connection to the case and there are no outstanding individuals related to it. The incident appears to be isolated and domestic in nature…
