Quensean Jerome Tanner, 18, of Covington, is accused of assault and battery charges while armed with a gun on May 3 at 11 p.m. at the Kennesaw State University Village Suites, 1704 Canton Place in Kennesaw, according to an arrest warrant from the KSU Campus Police Department.
Tanner detained a woman in her room by standing in front of the door, extending his arms and grabbing the door frame before telling her she wasn’t going to leave. He then grabbed her by the collar when she attempted to leave and pulled his firearm, racking the slide in an intimidating manner, according to the warrant.
Tanner is charged with false imprisonment detainment; simple battery provoke; aggravated assault weapon; possession of firearm/knife during the commission of a crime; carrying weapons within a school safety zone; and criminal trespass remain in property.
