A Canton man is accused of burglarizing a local business a little over two days after he was arrested in connection with another burglary, police report.
According to the Canton Police Department, officers interrupted a burglary in progress late Thursday night after responding to an audible alarm at the Dollar General at 1883 Hickory Flat Highway. Minutes later, police arrived and found signs of forced entry, and encountered a suspect inside the store. The suspect ran back through the business as more officers responded to establish a perimeter, clear the building, and search the surrounding area.
