AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo District has received approval for construction on main lanes of Loop 335 near Arden Road.
TxDOT says the $47 million safety improvement project includes construction from FM 2186 to north of Arden Road.
The project will include the following elements:
- main lanes
- an overpass at Arden Road
- traffic signal lights at Arden Road
- high-mast lighting
TxDOT says the project aims to enhance safety and mobility in the area.
The project is scheduled to bid in August 2026…
