AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Potter County commissioners approved a partial fireworks ban Monday in response to ongoing drought conditions and heightened wildfire concerns.
The order prohibits the sale, detonation, ignition or use of “skyrockets with sticks” and “missiles with fins” in unincorporated areas of Potter County. Commissioners approved the measure 5-0.
