A slider restaurant franchise is hoping the third time’s the charm for the 806 area, this time with locations for Lubbock and Amarillo on the horizon, according to a company news release.
Smalls Sliders, a cheeseburger slider concept that began in Louisiana in 2019, has announced West Texas expansions since 2023. While that deal, and the 2025 announcement, fell through, the company hopes this one will stick.
“Lubbock has been on our radar for some time, and we have never wavered in our belief that Smalls Sliders can be successful in this market,” the Smalls Sliders Corporate stated via email. “Not every relationship ultimately results in cans opening, but that does not change the opportunity we see here. We are extremely confident in West Texas Sliders, their commitment to the market and their ability to execute. We believe we now have the right partners in place to finally bring Smalls Sliders to the hardworking communities of the 806.”…
