AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A group by the Amarillo Minority Coalition, Flock Off the 806, is hosting a town hall regarding the alleged expansion of Flock ID cameras within the city of Amarillo.
The Flock Safety website states that the Flock ID cameras or the Flock LPR cameras are solar-powered cameras that scan license plates and flag license plates to law enforcement. However, the City of Amarillo or the Amarillo Police Department has not confirmed with MyHighPlains.com that they are using Flock Safety-branded cameras.
