A crash involving two big rigs has blocked traffic on the southbound 5 Freeway through the Grapevine Monday morning.
The crash was reported near the Pyramid Lake offramp, just south of Smokey Bear Road in Los Angeles County, around 4:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision left the semis disabled across three lanes, prompting officials to issue a SigAlert and completely shut down the southbound side of the freeway at 5:30 a.m.
