Heat advisory issued for parts of Southern California as temperatures soar

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for parts of Southern California as temperatures soar this weekend.

The advisory went into effect at 10 a.m. Saturday and will remain in effect until 8 p.m. Monday. It covers:

  • Inland Orange County
  • Riverside mountains and valleys
  • San Bernardino valleys

The heat will be felt away from those areas as well, with above-average temperatures expected across the region.
