Investigators in Bellflower are searching for two people who threw a Molotov cocktail inside a smoke shop and shot at an employee early Sunday.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to “The Spot Smok Shop” on Somerset Boulevard just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired. There, they learned two masked individuals opened fire at an employee and then threw a Molotov cocktail inside the shop before running off.
The shop employee was not struck by gunfire due to the protection of bulletproof glass, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. However, the incendiary device prompted the shop to catch fire. It’s unclear what, if any, damage occurred in the fire…
