Police Tuesday are investigating a shooting in North Long Beach near the Los Angeles River that left one man wounded but in stable condition.
Long Beach Police Department officers responded at approximately 9:46 p.m. Sunday to the area of the Los Angeles River and East Artesia Boulevard regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived, the officers learned a man had been shot and sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the upper body, the police department said.
