Alaska Airlines may be fined $165K for allowing drunk passengers on board multiple flights, FAA says

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Alaska Airlines was hit by a proposed fine of $165,000 Tuesday from the Federal Aviation Administration for allegedly allowing intoxicated passengers on flights, according to FAA authorities.

The agency stated that federal regulations don’t allow any passengers who “appear” to be drunk or otherwise intoxicated to board a plane.
