It’s been more than a year since Tony Kronos went missing. Friends are still trying to keep the case alive.

EAGLE RIVER, Alaska (KTUU) – Friends of missing Eagle River man Tony Kronos are planning a rally on Saturday to make sure the public knows the 40-year-old Eagle River man is still missing, more than a year later.

His friend Catlin Mobley said the community event is also meant to send a message to Krono’s family that their son and brother has not been forgotten.

“The community is still with you, even if you don’t hear from us every day,” Mobley said in a recent interview with another long-time Kronos friend, DeeDee Barnes. “We know that you are going through this hard thing, we know that this can’t be easy, and that we are here for you. As simple as that.”

Getting answers has not been easy either, according to Mobley and Barnes, who are frustrated with how the Anchorage Police Department is handling the case…
