Earth Day is being marked early in Anchorage with a community celebration at the Anchorage Museum.
The museum is partnering with the Alaska Chapter of the Sierra Club for the first time to host an outdoor block party on the museum’s front patio. The free event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, April 22.
Organizers say the celebration will include snacks, music, and activities for children, including a chalk art station. Environmental organizations will also be on site to share ways the public can get involved in sustainability and conservation efforts…
