ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – No injuries were reported Thursday in a large duplex fire in an Abbott Loop neighborhood in which emergency crews discovered a “extreme hoarding” situation.
Flames were seen rising from the home on Medellin Circle around 11 a.m. Thursday. Anchorage Fire Department Capt. Jake Crockett said the initial report came in around 10:30 a.m.
Crockett told Alaska’s News Source at the scene that crews did not find anyone inside, but also said they discovered what he called “extreme hoarding conditions.”…
