Former Indiana 4-star commit now at center of heated Big Ten recruiting battle

Back in the middle of May, Indiana’s highest-ranked 2027 commit was 4-star CB Monsanna Torbert Jr. At the time, Torbert was ranked as the No. 16 cornerback and No. 139 overall player in the country according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

However, Torbert handed Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers a tough blow when he decommitted from Indiana on May 18. Since then, Torbert has garnered plenty of attention from a handful of Power 4 programs and he is now locked in a heated Big Ten recruiting battle.
