When Marissa Schnurstein, a 2026 graduate of Dexter High School, read that she was one of only 51 recipients of the prestigious Williams Scholarship this year, she dropped her phone and screamed.
The scholarship provides up to eight consecutive semesters of undergraduate enrollment at Michigan State University, including tuition, fees, food and housing, and a single $7,500 experiential education stipend.
