ANN ARBOR, MI – A man who worked as a police officer in Wayne County is suing an Ann Arbor police officer and the city of Ann Arbor, alleging he was retaliated against because he rejected the Ann Arbor officer’s sexual advances.
Hashim Zrien, a Dearborn Heights police officer at the time, contends police officials did not properly investigate an allegation of misconduct against the current Ann Arbor officer, according to a complaint filed Aug. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
