The Big Reds Girls Varsity Swim and Dive team came up short against a highly-ranked Greenhills team while getting a big win against Lincoln.
Milan hosted both Lincoln and Greenhills for a swim and dive meet on Sept. 15. Milan Coach Dan Heikka said the Greenhills team came into the meet ranked as the sixth ranked team in Division 2 and while Milan battled, they fell a bit short, but the meet with Lincoln was a win for the Big Reds.

- Milan 125 Lincoln 41
Heikka said they swam and dove well on the night in a tough part of the season with peak training and school ramping up.
Milan won five events on the night:
- Tori Kimberly took the 50 free
- Kaylin Brown won diving
- Avery Hovatter won the 500 Free
- Hovatter, Evelyn Gill, Kimberly and Ashtyn Bergstrom won the 2000 Free relay
- Hovatter, Gill, Afton Presley and Bergstrom also won the 400 Free Re
Haley Lancaster and Agne Zukovskyte dove well and took 4th and 5th…
