ANN ARBOR, MI — Three University of Michigan professors have been elected to the National Academy of Sciences, joining 120 new members recognized for distinguished and continuing achievements in original research, according to an April 29 Michigan News announcement.
Ruma Banerjee, Nancy Burns and Elizaveta (Liza) Levina bring the total number of active members to 2,705 and international members to 557, of which 25 were chosen this year.
