YPSILANTI TWP., MI – A warehouse near Ypsilanti was destroyed by a fire on Wednesday evening.
Drivers on I-94 called emergency services around 10 p.m. April 29 to report they could see a fire somewhere near the freeway, said Capt. Scott Gehringer with the Ypsilanti Township Fire Department. It was not immediately clear exactly where the fire was, Gehringer said.
Crews had “a little bit of a runaround to find out where it was” but ultimately found a warehouse in the 1800 block of Cadillac Avenue fully on fire, Gehringer said…
