This is where my buddy Mike and I took our prom dates for dinner all those years ago. It was a big deal, you know – four teenagers eating at a high-class restaurant and paying for it. I don’t recall what I had, but I remember what my date ordered: the most expensive thing on the menu, lobster.
I really liked that place: it was Schumm’s Cocktails just off M-52 (S. Main Street), on the southern outskirts of Chelsea.
It wasn’t an octagon or a hexagon building – it is said to have 12 sides. I don’t recall…but I know it had at least ten sides, a decagon.
