Crescent Hotel Offers a Wine Night for the Masses

Wine lingo can be a rather hard concept to grasp for those of us considered novices in the methods of swirling, sniffing, and sipping. And perhaps it’s news to you too that wines can have “good legs,” can “sing,” or can simply be “very drinkable.”

But language barrier be damned, The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth is dedicating an evening to a vineyard that plucks only the most “approachable” grapes from the vine — another adjective this writer didn’t know could describe a bottled substance — resulting in wines that appeal to both new and seasoned tasters alike.

The Caymus Wine Dinner — a crash course in wine 101, so to speak — will take place on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. in The Blue Room, the hotel’s intimate dining space in Fort Worth’s Cultural District…
