A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a March crash that killed a 6-year-old girl on Interstate 20 in Arlington, police said.
Arlington Police say Courtney Getz was taken into custody Tuesday on warrants charging her with intoxication manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram. She was booked into the Arlington City Jail before being transferred to the Tarrant County Jail.
Police said Getz was driving a Nissan Sentra that crashed into the rear of a dump truck on March 25 near the I-20 and U.S. 287 interchange. She and two children were taken to hospitals, where 6-year-old Aviah Getz later died. The dump truck driver was not injured…
