Fort Worth is moving toward annexing 111 acres at FM 1187 and the Chisholm Trail Parkway at the property owner’s request, because Texas Health Resources has inquired about securing 10 acres of the site to build a hospital.
Fort Worth City Council members are expected to consider the annexation in September, after the City Plan Commission voted 10-1 July 9 to recommend that the city annex the property at the northwest corner of FM 1187 and the Chisholm Trail.
