H-E-B files permit for ‘future development’ in southwest Fort Worth

Tortilla addicts may soon have a new place to get their fix after San Antonio-based H-E-B filed for two permits for a property it owns in southwest Fort Worth.

The company filed for an urban forestry permit to grade an 11.8 acre site at 5501 Crescent Hill Lane on July 14, according to the city’s permitting website. The site is being graded for “future development,” according to a project description section on the permit application webpage.

H-E-B followed up the urban forestry permit application with an application for a drainage study two weeks later, according to city records…
