Viral Fort Worth restaurant opens second spot after less than a year of business

It hasn’t even been a year since Sweet Stacks opened, drawing two-hour lines down Magnolia Avenue. And now the Fort Worth business is opening a second location.

Owner Mina Sourignavong previously told the Star-Telegram that when they first opened in December 2025, business automatically boomed. Her staff had to learn how to keep up. Most importantly, they had to educate customers on the time it takes to make their most popular dish. Japanese souffle pancakes (also known as sweet stacks) take at least 30 minutes, and are prepared fresh to order.
