FORT WORTH – A driver was taken into custody Saturday night after a traffic pursuit near the West 7th area.
Fort Worth Police tried to pull over 29-year-old Andrew Guerra, who they believed was intoxicated, at University Dr. and Bailey Ave. when he sped off. Officers pursued and the driver hit two pedestrians before officers could get him to stop.
The pedestrians and the occupants of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital. They are all in stable condition.
Guerra was arrested on the scene and charged with intoxicated assault with a vehicle.
