Giannis Antetokounmpo Inadvertently Kicked Luka Doncic During Bucks-Mavs Game

On Saturday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks faced off in Texas.

The Mavs got out to a 44-20 lead in the first quarter, but the Bucks were able to make a big comeback over the final three quarters and won by a score of 129-117.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a fantastic performance and put up 48 points, six rebounds, ten assists, five steals and one block while shooting 20/28 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range.

During the second quarter, the two-time MVP inadvertently kicked All-Star Luka Doncic ( h/t House of Highlights ).

Antetokounmpo drove to the basket and dished a pass to AJ Green, who made a three-pointer.

However, as Antetokounmpo was in the air, he extended his leg, which went right into Doncic’s stomach (and he fell to the ground).

Doncic also had another injury scare when he was fighting for a loose ball with Antetokounmpo during the first quarter and briefly went to the locker room (h/t House of Highlights ).

Thankfully, the superstar forward was able to complete the game and finished his night with an incredible 40 points, nine rebounds, 11 assists and one steal while shooting 13/26 from the field and 4/12 from the three-point range in 42 minutes of playing time.
