VIRGINIA — Portions of Northern Virginia remain under a severe thunderstorm watch Saturday evening as strong storms move across the region with the potential to produce damaging winds, large hail, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall.
According to the National Weather Service, Severe Thunderstorm Watch 278 remains in effect until 8 p.m. for Loudoun County and several jurisdictions in Northern Virginia, including Fairfax County, Arlington County, the City of Alexandria, the City of Fairfax and the City of Falls Church.
