Person hospitalized after being struck by car in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — One person sustained traumatic injuries after a Saturday pedestrian crash in Montgomery County, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).

In a post to X shortly before 9 p.m., MCFRS Spokesperson Pete Piringer said crews responded to reports of a pedestrian crash at Odendhal Avenue and Asbury Drive.

Piringer noted that bystanders rescued the pedestrian from underneath the vehicle before responders arrived.
