GREAT FALLS, Va. — A barn in Great Falls has been gutted by flames following a vicious fire Wednesday night.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 200 block of Walker Road around 9 p.m. for reports of a heavy fire behind a home. Firefighters who reported to the scene found that a barn completely enveloped in flames, and limited fire hydrants in the vicinity.
A tanker shuttle operation was established, and crews worked to keep the fire contained to the barn itself. All occupants and animals were evacuated before authorities arrived. One person was treated on-scene for minor injuries…
