Asheville city council approves $9.5M in funding to advance new affordable housing complex

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — On Tuesday, June 9, the Asheville City Council approved $9.5 million in federal Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding to advance a new affordable housing development.

According to a news release, the $9.5 million will help advance the Terrace at River Hills affordable housing development that will add 126 affordable rental housing units.
