Successful $200,000 campaign protects property from future residential development

SALUDA—The Saluda Community Land Trust recently announced the results of its “Keep Saluda Green” campaign and the permanent protection of nearly 7 acres of undeveloped land in the heart of historic Saluda.

The campaign raised $200,000 through 132 individual donors, including a lead gift from the Polk County Community Foundation Bradley Fund, allowing the organization to secure 6.96 acres that had been considered for residential development…
