BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Buncombe County District Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday that the final defendant connected to a string of burglaries on I-40 has been sentenced.
Decario Deshawn Davis, 29, pleaded guilty to felony breaking and entering resulting in three consecutive active judgments. He was sentenced to a total term of 47 to 84 months in the North Carolina Division of Adult Correction.
Officials said that Davis’ sentencing marks the conclusion of a significant multi-jurisdictional investigation into organized vehicle thefts on the I-40 corridor.
