Kimberly Michelle Randall was a 49 year old woman whose death became one of Asheville’s most troubling unsolved homicide cases of 2021. She was also identified in later reports as Kimberly Jarvis, and some accounts stated that she was known by the nickname Raven. The different names created confusion in public discussions of the case, but they referred to the same woman whose body was discovered inside an abandoned restaurant in west Asheville.
Kimberly’s final days remain poorly documented in publicly available information. Much of what investigators learned about her movements was never released, leaving major gaps in the timeline. What is known is that she was alive in Asheville in late October 2021 and was reportedly seen with an unidentified man shortly before she disappeared.
Her death was violent. A medical examination later determined that she had been strangled and suffered blunt force trauma to the head. Despite the severity of the attack and public requests for information, no person has been publicly convicted of killing her.

Kimberly was reportedly last seen alive on October 24, 2021, in Asheville, North Carolina. Some accounts stated that she was near a Shell gas station and was accompanied by a man whose identity was not immediately known.

Investigators later sought help identifying a man connected to her final movements, but authorities did not publicly explain whether he was considered a witness, a person of interest or a possible suspect…
